Mohd Abd-Manap (Malaysia)

Mohd Nuruddin Abd Manap is currently an active senior investment strategist and financial planner based in Malaysia. He is very passionate on people empowerment and providing the solution to the people’s need via the business development. He believes that this how the economy can grow inclusively based on the principle of demand and supply. Based on his expertise on the area of financial management and investment, he is currently attached with the ACE Holdings Berhad as the Senior Manager and also a consultant to the PMB Investment. In addition to his expertise on business development including sales and marketing, he was previously a Senior Program Manager and Education Project Consultant of Madinah Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (MILE) – Knowledge Economic City (KEC) based in the Holy City of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He also served as a Program/Project Manager at IAIS Malaysia, an international think-tank and policy research centre under the chairmanship of His Excellency Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the Former Prime Minister of Malaysia. He was also a Special Officer to Deputy CEO of IAIS Malaysia, Emeritus Professor Dato' Osman Bakar - a world-renowned scholar in the field of Science and Islamic Philosophy, Contemporary Islamic Thought and Dialogue of Civilization. Mohd Nuruddin Abd Manap was born in Malaysia and completed his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science (Biohealth Science) with First Class Honors from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2005 and Master of Public Policy and Management from the University of Brunei Darussalam and the University of Maryland USA in 2016. He served as a Research Scientist at and Project Manager of Honey Research Group at University of Malaya, Tutor and Lab Demonstrator at Institute of Biological Science, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya, Senior Research Scientist and Deputy General Manager of Oleopharma Sdn Bhd (healthcare management and pharmaceutical company). With his passion and dedication in the field of leadership and management including public policy, youth empowerment and healthcare management, he has seriously involves in organizing many international conferences, public forums, roundtable discussions and also has travelled to many countries including United Kingdom, Scotland, Germany, France, Indonesia, Brunei, India, Singapore, Qatar, Thailand, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and United States of America (USA). Beside of his busy activities with NGOs related to the youth empowerment and nation building, he has attended many programs and training related to Public Policy and Research Management, Administration and Leadership Management, Corporate Finance and Capital Market, Marketing & Networking, Public Relations and Diplomatic Engagements, Business Development and Investment. He has a deep interest in completing a PhD study in the field of Corporate Finance and Artificial Intelligence.
