Biography
Prof. El Hassan is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia in Marrakech in Cadi Ayyad University.
- Scientific expert and evaluator for the National Center for Scientific Research of Morocco.
- Scientific expert and evaluator in multi-themes R&D for CNRST-UM6P.
- Member of the "Water, Biodiversity, and Climate Change" Laboratory, focusing research on biodiversity management and protection of biodiversity.
- Research encompasses ecological data analysis, predictive modeling, identification and monitoring, and optimization of ecosystem services. To better understand population dynamics and natural ecosystem functioning, he utilized artificial neural network data analysis.
- Over his 28 years at the faculty, he was head of two Master's programs: "Biodiversity Dynamics and Ecosystem Management" (2010-2014) and "Environment and Biodiversity Dynamics" (2017-2020), and the fundamental program of undergraduate students "Life Sciences."
- Managed and participated in 20 scientific projects, both bilateral and multilateral, nationally and internationally, contributing to the exchange of skills and techniques, benefiting mutual research efforts, and the training of Moroccan students, especially in Master's and Ph.D. research programs.
- Supervised over 20 Ph.D. theses and more than 20 Master's theses.
- Published over 150 scientific articles in impact factor journals.
- Reviewer for several international scientific journals.
- Co-author of two scientific books on pedagogy and conservation biology.
- Participated in over 50 international congresses and organized five international congresses.
