Biography
Adebusuyi Olutayo Olumadewa is the founder of DoTheDream Youth Development Initiative. A social Transformer with the first leadership library for Government schools in Africa from Nigeria, building reading culture, curiosity where skill leads to services, start up and solutions.He is the Initiator of SDGs Leadership Resource Center-where S.T.E.A.M become a tool for accelerating Sustainable Development. He has successfully organise over 169 Leadership Seminars in schools - an event aimed at promoting education, value reorientation and behavioural/attitudinal change, and also seeks to promote the ideals of the sustainable development goals in which over 169,700 young people has benefited since inception in 2005.
His concept on Leadership for growth and development inspire the weekly Leadership Trainings among youths and under serve, Girls Are Asset Projects with over 11,656 girls impacted since inception, 2 Start up Projects, 16 Entrepreneurship Scheme organised, 4Tech2 Project - where tech becomes the Pathways, Maximum impact which refurbishes dilapidated school Building to inspire learning, Donation of Tables and chairs, distributions of books ,Excursions on exposure, Skill Acquisitions Projects, Payment of jamb form, Exchange program, Donation of Foods to Orphanage, provision of Healthcare etc. and Read 2Build project.
He led the organisation to get accredited into the Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council ECOSOC status with the United Nations, UNEP and CRP as well as a Menbe of CoNGO. An active member -UN Sustainable Development Networks, a signatory to SEForAll For All
He is the brain behind Plant What You Eat, Eat What you Plant- leading to Home Farming and Food Bank Project. His role in Gender Equality inspire Global Alliance for Women & Girls Are Asset Project- GAWGAAP a project that democratises opportunities for women/Girls to thrive.
Adebusuyi led the team to observe UN International days with collaboration from the office of the Prime Minister of Finland, Prime Minister Sanna Marin who spoke via Video Presentation, World Social Justice Day with Kingdom of The Netherland Embassy Lagos, World Food Day with FAO DG Participation In Nigeria and the United Nations Information Center, World Bank Representatives among others. He spoke at the First Sustainability Conference at the UN HQ in New York in April and at COSP 17 Session. An Host of the UN side Event FFD Forum 2024 and High Level Political Forum 2024 )
He is a strategic partner of UN in Nigeria, and author of 6 Books.
