Biography

Muawya Ahmed Hussein received the PhD degree in Economics (2018). He is currently an assistant professor of Economics in the Department of Finance and Economics, College of Commerce and Business Administration, Dhofar University, Oman. His research interests include economic development, environmental economics, economics of education and financial economics . Hussein published many papers in many reputable journals that are indexed in Web of Science that have good impact factor as well as Scopus. He has also served as a reviewer for many well-reputed conferences, as well as acting as a reviewer for several reputable journals. He was a chair of Department of Accounting and Finance in Dhofar University. Moreover, since 2019, he has been appointed as the Convener of Master of Management program
