Biography
Senior Chair Professor Dr. (Mrs.) Fathuma Hansiya Abdul Rauf is an eminent academic, researcher, and higher education administrator with over three decades of experience in the university sector. She currently serves as Professor (on Contract) in the Department of Human Resource Management at the Open University of Sri Lanka. Previously, she served as Senior Professor and Chair Professor of Management at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.
She holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Peradeniya, an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a BBA from the University of Jaffna. Her expertise includes Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, and Research Methodology. She has held several senior leadership positions, including Dean, Director, Head of Department, and Acting Vice-Chancellor. Her research interests include Organizational Citizenship Behavior, organizational justice, work–family conflict, and employee performance. She has published in leading international journals, supervised postgraduate research, and contributed extensively to quality assurance and higher education development. She is a recipient of the Commonwealth Professional Fellowship Award, UK.
