Dr Aizhan Shomotova (Khalifa University) UAE

Dr Aizhan Shomotova is a dedicated scholar specialising in higher education, human capital, digital literacy, wellbeing, and the integration of generative AI. She is currently a faculty member at Khalifa University and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She has also served as a faculty instructor, course coordinator, and chair of a committee at the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Zayed University. Her research has been published in top-tier, Scopus-indexed Q1 journals. Dr. Shomotova is an Associate Editor of the Q1, Scopus-indexed Journal of Further and Higher Education and a reviewer for leading journals in education and the social sciences. She has participated in major international conferences and organised high-impact academic events.
