Biography
Dr. Mohammed Almakki is an applied mathematician and academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Amity University Dubai. He has more than 18 years of teaching experience in higher education and specializes in fluid mechanics, numerical analysis, and applied mathematics.
He earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he also completed postdoctoral research. His research interests include Newtonian and non-Newtonian nanofluid flow, entropy generation, heat and mass transfer, mathematical modeling, and computational methods.
Dr. Almakki has published research articles in indexed international journals and has contributed to curriculum development and engineering mathematics education. His academic work also extends to interdisciplinary applications involving epidemiology, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics.
At Amity University Dubai, he teaches mathematics and engineering-related courses and is involved in academic coordination and student-centered learning initiatives.
