Biography
Dr. Sayed Mahmoud is an Assistant Professor and Learning Resources Librarian at Zayed University. He specializes in technology integration and maker-centered learning and is dedicated to bridging traditional education with 21st-century demands by fostering student innovation and creativity.
Dr Mahmoud earned his PhD in technology-enhanced learning from Lancaster University, following his ICT and Digital Learning Master’s degree at the University of Newcastle and Library and Information Science at UCL. His research focuses on empowering students with transferable skills through the effective use of contemporary tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, drone, and CNC machines. Committed to enriching learning experiences, Dr. Mahmoud cultivates future innovators within the university’s makerspace.
