Andrew Okello (Sustainable Missions Inc.) Uganda

Andrew Okello is a professional accountant with practical experience in accounting, community development and sustainable development initiatives. He worked with Compassion-aided projects in Northern Uganda, gaining experience in bookkeeping and internal audits, and later served in accounting and finance at Covenant Mercies Uganda. For more than 15 years, he has contributed to the work of Sustainable Missions Inc. (SMI), focusing on community well drilling, well association management, health and hygiene monitoring and training, and research on sustainable community development. His work links water access with community organization, savings and lending, livestock development, sustainable agriculture and nutrition education. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an Accounting major from Makerere University Business School.
