Biography
My work, travel and networks in North America, Latin America, Europe, South-east Asia, Africa and the Caribbean allow me a unique perspective on technical aspects of migration, innovation, social networks and technology and their impact on the global social and political landscape. I am fully fluent (oral, written) in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese, and continue to expand my horizons to Russian, Mandarin Chinese and Arabic. In working with governments, SMEs and major firms and international institutions since the early 2000s, I have developed a reputation as a hard-working and detail-oriented strategist who can deliver results in rapidly changing and uncertain situations. Since earning my doctorate in 2009, I have divided my career between technical and research consultancies, translation and cultural entrepreneurship, and teaching and research in international relations, international development, cultural studies and the arts.
