Biography
Dr. Nagmeldin Karamalla-Gaiballa is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw. His work focuses on political science, African studies, migration, and cultural diversity. He also serves as the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Cultural Diversity at the University of Warsaw, promoting inclusivity and fostering cross-cultural dialogue.
He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Szczecin and a B.A./M.A. in Economics from the Wroclaw University of Economics, both in Poland. Dr. Karamalla-Gaiballa is actively involved in several organizations, including the Polish Association of Political Science, the Program Council of the International Institute of Civil Society, the Polish Africanist Society, and the Polish Institute of World Art Studies.
He is the Chairman of the Euro-Africa Foundation Council and the Southern Connect Foundation Council, reflecting his commitment to fostering international cooperation. He also works as an Adviser for Sudan and South Sudan Affairs at the Pan-African Political Alliance and as an Immigration Advisor and Trainer at the Institute of Migration and Security in Poland. His academic and professional contributions emphasize the integration of research, policy, and practice to address global challenges and promote cultural understanding.
