Yilin Xie (China)

Yilin Xie is a first-grade post-graduate student from Donghua University. Her research interest focuses on the sustainable development of the garment industry. She has academic backgrounds of fashion design & engineering and business English. Last year, she joined a research project supported by the China Association for Science and Technology that helps with dealing the problems in the supply chain of PPE in Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan. Now, she is in another research group that assists in the green transformation and development of the Ethiopian textile industry. Her project named The Study on the Scheme of Green Transformation of Ethiopian Textile Industrial Parks. She is now working with the specialists from Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia, the expert from the UNIDO and some Chinese enterprises located in the industrial parks in Ethiopia. She will get her master’s degree in 2024 and aims at gaining a position in the international organization.
